Going to the chapel.....

I AM ENGAGED!!!!!! I went over to Rob's like normal, but this time I didn't get there until Saturday afternoon around lunch. When I arrived I realized Rob kind of was dressed up for a weekend at the house, he said it wasn't weird, so I blew it off. He was being super sweet and was really enjoying it! I said I was going to take Izzy out, and come out and hang out with us while she goes potty. A few minutes later he came outside, we hung out there a while because it was nice out. I came back in to see a cute set of PJs laid out on the couch. Pink capri pants and a matching polka dot tank. I was so impressed with his shopping skills, it was cute and the right size! I was very proud of my Rob! Rob told me to try them on, I put the pants on under my dress I had on and he kept asking if they fit alright.... I kept saying yes they did. Then he told me to try the top on but go in the other room to put it on. So I come back in and gave him a big hug and kiss because it was cute and fit perfect! I sat down on the couch not knowing what to do next, then he presses play on the Ipod and tells me that my drawstring on the pants is tucked in...... and there it was.... the most beautiful thing I have ever seen!! MY RING! It has a big diamond in the middle, and 8 tiny ones on each side on a cathedral setting!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! He got down on one knee and told me that I was the perfect girl for him and asked if I would marry him.... YES!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I think he started to tear up and by this point there are tears streaming down my face. I was so shocked and surprised and happy! He pointed to the video camera he had taping the whole thing, how did I not notice that? And because where I sat after I came back in the living room I was out of the shot for the ending part, but he was in the whole thing. As soon as I realized all of the I start to lovingly hit him for being so sneaky and then everything starts to come together in my mind. all the weird behavior and things I had noticed that he either told me it wasn't a big deal or that I ignored. We went next door to his mom's and got some pictures. She had been with Rob the day before and helped him go pick up the ring and pick out my Pajamas :) The rest of the day was full of phone calls and internetting. It was the greatest day! I wouldn't have changed a thing! Thank you Rob, you made me the happiest girl in the world.
